Hey, I’m Shay!
"As an artist hailing from Live Oak, Florida, my journey in the world of art began the moment I could hold a pen. Growing up surrounded by the serene beauty of the country, I developed a deep-rooted passion for artistic expression that has shaped my life's path.
My artistic journey has been marked by a series of mini commissions, each allowing me to explore and refine my craft while connecting with clients on a personal level. These projects paved the way for professional opportunities, awards, and recognitions, fueling my ambition to pursue a career in art.
My educational pursuits led me to Florida Gateway College, where I obtained my associate's degree before transferring to Valdosta State University. There, I completed a bachelor's degree in Communication and Public Relations, complemented by a minor in art. This multidisciplinary approach has enriched my artistic perspective and broadened my horizons.
Breakout moments in my career include the completion of four public mural projects in Valdosta, Georgia, where I currently reside. These projects allowed me to showcase my artistic vision on a larger scale while leaving a lasting impression on the community.
As I continue to evolve as an artist, my work is inspired by a profound appreciation for the human form, color dynamics, nature, and graphic art. With each brushstroke, I strive to convey emotions, messages, and themes that resonate with viewers, inviting them into my world of creativity and imagination."
